Also from, Fish & Richardson was named as one of 3 Boston law firms where profits for partners soared in spite of layoffs and a bad economy.  One explanation for Fish’s profits, other than cost cutting, was an increase in demand for IP advice.   I have to admit that I’m a little skeptical on that one.
